Prof. Yuehua Liu, Chief Editor of the Integrated Chinese series, will retire from Harvard University in the summer of 2003. To honor her contributions to the field of Chinese language in general and to Integrated Chinese in particular, we (the other IC authors) plan to hold a workshop/conference in Hawaii.

The theme of the conference is "Chinese language instructional materials" which will include, but will not be limited, to the following topics:

Subsidy:
Since we have received no funding for the conference, we are unable to subsidize your trip. Please apply for travel money from your own institution. Since the IC authors have donated some money to cover the meeting room and some other expenses during the conference, there will be no registration fee.
